EXCELLIFT open winch consists of a wire rope drum powered by a motor and gearbox that provides various pulling forces through the wire rope being wound onto the drum. Different usages can be derived from this arrangement with wire rope positioned horizontally or vertically. It can be mounted onto the crab to operate as a wire rope hoist with the wire rope operating in vertical position.
